Apprenticeship success with West Cheshire College

Maxiflow are extremely pleased to report the progress we have been making thanks to West Cheshire College‘s excellent apprenticeship scheme.

We believe that our industry has a lot to offer for young people looking to get a head start in today’s employment market. Practical services such as building and roofing are often unfairly overlooked by career advisory services in favour of academic options, which aren’t suitable for every school leaver.

Luckily, West Cheshire College have recognised this gap and have aimed to present skilled trades to young adults as an attractive and viable career path.

For the past month we have taken on a 17 year old apprentice from the College who has been working with our building division as an integral part of the team.

Our young apprentice is said to be enjoying himself, that “it’s great to get some real-world experience” and he’ll “be able to pass places like Chester Market and say ‘I helped build a part of that'”.

We would once again like to extend our thanks to West Cheshire College for running the scheme. You can find out more details here.
