About Us

Cheshire buildings service

Maxiflow is a family-run buildings service company based in Chester in the North West of England. We provide a wide range of buildings services, specialising in construction, roofing, drainage, mechanical and electrical solutions.

We have a large number of customers within the construction industry, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance for businesses across the public, private and voluntary sectors. Some of our customers are ENGIE, CBRE, MOD, Chester Zoo, Bentley and Airbus.

In addition, we are able to provide domestic services on a one-off or contractual basis. Our dynamic business model allows us flexibility whilst our operatives are all highly skilled, enabling us to carry out tasks of any size or complexity.

We are local council and government approved and pride ourselves on our exemplary Health and Safety record.

We receive regular audits by organisations such as Considerate Construction and regularly perform internal audits as part of our Quality Management processes. We manage our performance with the use of several Key Performance Indicators. We have an open office policy and hold regular staff meetings. We value the contribution from every individual of the organisation.

As a company we invest heavily in “Sustainability” and are members of the Sustainability Supply Chain School. We have taken the initiative for all of our practices to be carbon-neutral wherever possible and constantly strive to reduce our carbon footprint. We are also reducing our environmental impact by working with our Waste Disposal partners to reduce the amount of waste that we send to landfill.

We build long term relationships with our suppliers working in partnership to ensure that the products that we use are from sustainable sources wherever possible. We also ensure that our suppliers are paid fairly and promptly.

We support charities such as Christleton Scouts and Macmillan Cancer. We donate to many local schools and currently sponsor Chester Football Club.

We provide employment for local people – currently employing over 30 people providing enhanced pay and working conditions. Our workforce has a wide age demographic (17 years-58 years.) Many of our employees are veterans and have served in Iraq and Afghanistan. We work in partnership with West Cheshire College providing training for 4 apprentices this year, who whilst gaining valuable work experience will gain much sought after qualifications in their chosen trade such as City and Guilds. Most apprentices later progress on to full time employment with Maxiflow.

We achieve our very high standards by investing in second to none training. Our Operatives receive regular Health and Safety training and also gain NVQ,s and other trade related qualifications whilst working with us.

We also employ older apprentices. Many young adults are now choosing to learn a trade rather than attending university, realising the potential benefits of learning a trade rather than studying for a degree.
