Require minimal disruption?
Need it cleared quickly?
Maxiflow can help you! We are at the leading edge of trenchless technology techniques with our No-Dig repair team and vast experience and knowledge within the industry.
What is No-Dig repair?
Rehabilitation of sewer and drains using trenchless technology (No-Dig repair) no longer means that entire sections of land have to be excavated at tremendous cost and disruption to the client or public.
A patch liner is a technique of repairing isolated faults accurately and cost effectively without the need for excavation or lining the drain fully. A normal patch is 600mm long and can be installed with pinpoint accuracy. We undertake all aspects of lining and patching from installing isolated repairs to full rehabilitation projects.
CIPP Lining (Cured In Place Pipe)
- The CIPP lining proses consist of a specially made felt tube with a thin plastic coating on its outer wall.
- The felt tube is then filled with a mixture of resin, catalyst and accelerator to a mixture predetermined by the engineers.
- The liner is then sent through a set of pinch rollers to leave the correct amount of resin inside the liner to guarantee wall thickness.
- The liner is then inserted into the drain and inflated using air or water, as the liner is held mechanically to the wall of the pipe the resin cures forming the new drain inside.
When you install a drain liner in a drain you block off any incoming connections, so you need to re-open them back up. We use a robotic cutter that we send down after the drain has been lined, and in conjunction with cameras we cut out the liner where the connections come in.
Pitch Fiber Rerounding
Pitch fibre drains were conceived in the 1950s and 60s and used up until the late 70s. Until recent years they meant costly excavations if any defects such as deformation or blisters were found, but Maxiflow Drainage are able to offer No Dig methods to re–round and line the pipe to minimise cost and disruption.
We use the latest technology in order to reshape and return the deformed drain to its original condition. We then install a CIPP liner to maintain the structural integrity of the drain and give a smooth internal finish. Maxiflow Drainage is an approved installer of RSM Products and Gadmon Industries CIPP liners and all staff are trained in the latest techniques to ensure our high standards are met.
