New solar panels and roof for Ffrith Community Centre

Ffrith Community Centre's new solar panels

The future is looking bright for Ffrith! Maxiflow have installed a set of solar panels on the roof of the village’s Community Centre, integrating the eco-friendly and money-saving technology into the beautiful surroundings of the Welsh countryside.

This project was in collaboration with the good people at Raine or Shine Alternative Energy Solutions, who you can also follow on Twitter.

You can view our original post about the project here and the work-in-progress photos here.

Roofing at Northgate Street, Chester & Ffrith Community Centre

Two new albums are up in our photo gallery:

Northgate Street, Chester

A member of the public spotted the loose slates at risk of falling from the roof of this conservation property. Maxiflow were contacted by Chester Cathedral to perform emergency reactive maintenance to make the area safe and are now engaged in a complete roof refurbishment.

Ffrith Community Centre

Rural development agency Cadwyn Clwyd Cyfyngedig have commissioned Maxiflow, in association with Raine or Shine, to install a new roof on Ffrith Community Centre, including fascia boards, gutters and EPDM rubber, in addition to a set of solar panels. Reducing carbon emmissions is a top priority for this registered charity.

Solar panels for Christleton Scout Hut

Maxiflow have been helping out our friendly neighbourhood Scouts! The hut of the 1st Christleton Scout Troop, which lies around the corner from Maxiflow HQ on White Lane, was in desperate need of refurbishment and Maxiflow stepped up to help.

We provided a fully-refitted EPDM roof installation and, completely free of charge, an all-new set of photovoltaic solar panels.

Our solar panels are designed to be as discreet as possible, lying flush with the contours of the roof, while also providing ample amounts of eco-friendly electricity.

If you ever stop by the Maxiflow offices, keep an eye out for the panels on your way down the lane!
